The leadership trap that looks like kindness

Some days the work isn't leading, it's remembering not to carry what was never mine to carry.
Hi {{ first_name | default: "there" }},
You care about your team. You're available, you're hands-on, and when someone comes to you with a problem, you help. That's not the issue.

The issue is what "helping" has quietly turned into. If you're the one who ends up solving most of the problems your team brings you, you're not leading them. You're rescuing them. And the difference matters more than it looks like from the inside.

I unpack this properly in this week's blog, including a real client story that might sting a little in the best way. Keep reading below.
?
REFLECTION QUESTION
“When someone brings you a problem, do you solve it for them, or help them solve it themselves?”
★
THIS WEEK'S TIP
Next time someone brings you a problem, ask what they think the next move is before you offer yours.

QUOTE I'M SITTING WITH
“The best executive is the one who has sense enough to pick good people to do what he wants done, and self-restraint enough to keep from meddling with them while they do it.” — Theodore Roosevelt
