Recorded this week's Take 5 on a park bench, between clients
Hi {{ first_name | default: "there" }},
This week's video was recorded on a park bench between clients. Just me, the trees and two stories I wanted to tell you properly.

“I know I'm doing it. It's just what I always do.” I hear some version of that from experienced leaders every week. Smart people who've read the books and can name their habit perfectly. And it still runs.

Early in my career, mine was making the call, presenting the plan, then spiralling the moment someone pushed back. Knowing I did it didn't stop it. Seeing what was driving it did. This week I share that story, my client Kara's, and the two questions I ask every leader who tells me “it's just what I always do.”
?
REFLECTION QUESTION
“What's the habit you know you do, and still do anyway?”
★
THIS WEEK'S TIP
Before your next big call, pause and ask, “If I were leading from clarity and certainty, what would I do?”
”
QUOTE I'M SITTING WITH
“Knowing your habit is where it starts. Seeing what drives it is what changes it.”
