What ChatGPT never asked me

Collar up, and I didn't even notice
Hi {{ first_name | default: "there" }},
I took this photo for this week's socials and didn't notice my collar was standing up until I looked at it later. It's a small thing, but it's a good reminder. We're often unaware of what other people see when they look at us.

A while back I asked ChatGPT how to handle a difficult conversation with someone in my team. The advice was helpful. But it never asked me a single question about me, and if I didn't know better, I would have walked in quietly confident and completely blind.

This week I share what it got right, what it missed, and the story of a client who typed his problem in while he was angry. It ended in a bullying claim that could have been avoided.
?
REFLECTION QUESTION
“What attitude are you bringing into your next tricky conversation?”

THIS WEEK'S TIP
Before you act on any advice about someone in your team, ask yourself what you've contributed.

QUOTE I'M SITTING WITH
“When it comes to human behaviour, there are no facts, just perceptions.”

Just me, the trees and two stories I wanted to tell you properly.“I know I'm doing it. It's just what I always do.” I hear some version of that from experien...
