Who are you being?

Hi {{ first_name | default: "there" }},

All month we've been circling one idea. Authority isn't about how you look. It's about who you're being.

When you're worried about how you're coming across, managing the image, trying to be who you think you're supposed to be, you're leading from the wrong place. That's the source of everything we've talked about this month, the performing, the drifting, the exhaustion. It all comes from a part of you that's preoccupied with being seen a certain way, and when that part of you is running the show, you can't be calm, because you've got something to protect the whole time.

Here's the honest part. Most of us are drifting from this without realising it, because the performing feels so automatic it just feels like us.

So if anything this month has landed, if you've seen yourself in the loud one, the gone one, or the gripping one, I built something for exactly that.

The Leadership Mirror is a short quiz that shows you where your authority might be drifting, and where your presence is really coming from. It's the most honest look in the mirror you'll get as a leader, and it takes only a couple of minutes.

Take The Leadership Mirror

Because the strongest leaders aren't the ones performing the role. They're the ones brave enough to lead as themselves.

The Cost Of Performing
Hi {{ first_name | default: "there" }}, When we lead from performance instead of presence, we do not just feel tired. We start to drift, and most of the time we cannot see it happening. It shows up as one of three things. Getting louder and overcompensating. Going quiet and disappearing. Or gripping every detail because letting anything slip feels too risky. None of these are character flaws...
Calm Is The Tell
Hi {{ first_name | default: "there" }}, Think about the most powerful person you have ever worked with. Not the loudest. The most powerful. I would put money on it, they were calm. Not switched off, not passive, just steady, even when someone pushed back or the room turned on them. That steadiness is not a personality trait. It is the tell. This week I am unpacking why calm is the clearest s...
What this month taught me about leading honestly
Hi {{ first_name | default: "there" }}, If you have been on this list for a while, you might have noticed things have shifted here. I have spent the last few months getting clear on what I actually do and who I do it for. The result is The Leadership Mirror. It's a free quiz that shows you exactly where your leadership authority is drifting, and why. Five minutes. Honest results. No fluff. This...
